Health:

A study found that eating habits account for one-fifth of all deaths worldwide
Researchers say the food we eat is driving 11 million people into premature death every year.

The study, published in the worldwide medical journal "Lancet," found that the food we eat every day is the cause of greater deaths than smoking and that one fifth of the world's deaths are associated with food.

Salt shortened people's lives the most. Whether it contained salt in bread or soy sauce or processed meat.

The researchers said the study is not about obesity, but about "low quality" foods that have cancer and that cause cancer.

So what kind of food is the problem?
Research on the world's disease burden is the world's most authoritative study of how people die each year.

The most recent analysis compares the dietary habits of different countries to see how long food shortens.

The most dangerous eating habits have the following characteristics.

Excess salt: 3 million deaths
Insufficient Whole Grain: 3 million deaths
Insufficient fruit: 2 million deaths
The lack of nuts, seeds, vegetables, seafood, omega-3, and dietary fiber was also the main cause of premature death.

"We have found that eating habits have the greatest impact on health problems around the world. Professor Christopher Murray of the University of Washington told the BBC.

How does eating habit kill people?
Deaths related to dietary habits were death from cardiovascular disease, from 10 million to 11 million. This shows why salt is such a serious problem.

Excessive salt intake increases blood pressure, leading to increased risk of heart attack or stroke.

Salt also has direct effects on the heart and blood vessels, leading to heart disease.

Whole grains, fruits and vegetables have the opposite effect. It protects the cardiovascular system and lowers the risk of heart disease.

How far is the world from perfect eating habits?
No country has perfect eating habits. Everyone prefers a different part of a healthy eating habit. On average, the difference between the recommended intake and the actual intake is as follows.

Are you talking about nuts and seeds?
Studies have shown that nutrition and seeds are the health foods that are the most lacking in the world.

The story that nuts and seeds are good for health has been seen many times by readers interested in health.

So why do not we eat this food?

Professor Nitafollohi of Cambridge University said: "In general, nuts and seeds have the perception that calories are going to be high, but the fats here are good."

"And most people do not see nuts or seeds as mainstream food, and that's the price."

Was not the meat and the sugar the worst?
There has been much talk in recent years about the debate over fat and sugar and the link between red meat, processed meat and cancer.

"These foods can be harmful, but they are a much smaller problem than the lack of whole grains, fruits, nuts, seeds and vegetables." Professor Murray said.

The study also showed that people are drinking too much carbonated beverages.

The researchers say the health campaign should now turn to recommending healthy foods instead of talking about bad foods such as fats or sugars.

Do not you have good food and good food?
Researchers say that eating harmful foods is cutting the world's expectation of life by two years.

Professor Murray says this is just an average, and that's the question we really have to throw. "Will I die from a heart attack in my fifties, or will I get cancer from my eating habits in my 40s?"

Is there a country doing better than other countries?
Countries around the Mediterranean, particularly France, Spain and Israel, have the lowest deaths from eating habits in the world.

Southeast Asia and Central Asian countries were the opposite.

Israel has the worst eating-related deaths in the world: 89 out of 100,000
Uzbekistan has the highest food-related deaths: 892 out of 100,000

Japan and China provide interesting examples of salt-related deaths.

China consumes a huge amount of salt because it uses various sources including soy sauce.

However, as the popularity of processed foods increases, so does the amount of salt consumed. China's highest salt intake is the highest mortality rate in the world.

Professor Murray said: "Japan is a very interesting case, but 30 to 40 years ago, Japan was eating as much salt as today's China."

"Salt is still the biggest problem in Japan, but the risk has sharply decreased."

"Japan is eating more foods that prevent heart disease, such as vegetables and fruits."
